errors · bitdewfpga bit, the XDC check before place and route

blink.xdc:43: warning [xdc-port-case]: the XDC names 'LED[3]' but the design's port is spelled led (same name, different case), so this line is an unused pin. Fix: make the two spellings the same.

A warning: the build goes on, that line ignored.

blink.xdc:43: warning [xdc-port-case]: the XDC names 'LED[3]' but the design's port is spelled led (same name, different case), so this line is an unused pin. Fix: make the two spellings the same. https://nosey-dewdrop.github.io/dewfpga/errors/xdc-port-case/

Why does it happen?

Unused pins in the XDC are normal (a whole master file with every pin uncommented), so they are ignored without a word; a name that matches a port except for case looks like a typo, so it is named.

What is the fix?

Rename the port in the module, or the name in [get_ports ...]:

set_property -dict { PACKAGE_PIN V19 IOSTANDARD LVCMOS33 } [get_ports {led[3]}]

Which command prints it?
