errors · bitdewfpga bit, yosys-slang, after yosys' own reader refused the code

ERROR [slang-unimplemented]: yosys-slang cannot build a construct of this design yet (ERROR: Feature unimplemented at slang_frontend.cc:776, see AST and code line dump above), and yosys' own reader refused the code too (its line is above). Fix: take the design apart until the build goes through, and report that construct (github.com/nosey-dewdrop/dewfpga/issues).

Why does it happen?

yosys-slang covers most of SystemVerilog and stops on the rest with this line; a real-valued parameter (localparam MAX = 1e1) is one known case, reported as yosys-crashed when yosys' own reader crashed on it.

What is the fix?

Comment out half the design until it builds, then the other half: the construct that stops it is what to rewrite or report.
