errors · checkdewfpga, before anything runs

ERROR [path-with-space]: a path with a space (/Users/you/My Projects/dewfpga / /Users/you/fpga): the FPGA tools cannot handle that. Fix: move the folder to a path without spaces, or set FPGA_HOME to one.

The line prints the two paths it checked: where the CLI is, and where the tools are.

ERROR [path-with-space]: a path with a space (/Users/you/My Projects/dewfpga / /Users/you/fpga): the FPGA tools cannot handle that. Fix: move the folder to a path without spaces, or set FPGA_HOME to one. https://nosey-dewdrop.github.io/dewfpga/errors/path-with-space/

Why does it happen?

make and the tools split their arguments at spaces; a path with one is two paths to them.

What is the fix?

Move the clone (~/.dewfpga is where install.sh puts it), or point FPGA_HOME at a folder without spaces:

FPGA_HOME=~/fpga dewfpga install

Which command prints it?
