You ran dewfpga bit in a folder without a design (your home folder, or the folder above the lab).

Why does it happen?

The CLI reads every .sv and .v file of the current folder and nothing else; no project file points elsewhere.

What is the fix?

cd lab4 && dewfpga bit

Or start a fresh design: dewfpga new blink makes a folder with a design, a testbench and a pin file.
